God does not need our perfection for His plan to be perfect. I’m grateful for this, because I’m not perfect – not even close. Every day I say the wrong words, think the wrong thoughts, and do wrong deeds. Yet, every day I come to the evening and see
Human beings can be very good at being bad. I smile every time I read Romans 7:14-20. I feel Paul’s argument within himself as he writes those words. I know what to do, but I find it difficult to do what I know I should be doing!

Whatever life may bring, focus on finishing the race strong. Life is worth living well. Each day, I hope to rest my head on my pillow and consider how God made me His hands and feet. At the end of my life, I hope I can lean back, breathe deeply,
Genesis
Because God is with us, we can overcome our mistakes and participate in God’s will even though we are not perfect. Isaac, like Abraham before him, made his share of mistakes. God doesn’t give up on him. God doesn’t walk away from Isaac because he makes mistakes.

For those in God, death has no lasting impact upon anything that truly matters. This is a hard sentence to type, because the pain of death is real for those left behind. We deal with emotional responses. We feel physical absence. Our flesh struggles greatly with our spirit when confronted
Genesis
When we make choices, God asks we make them with His ways in our heart. There are some things in this world that God forces to happen. Examples are creation, the exile into Babylon, and the birth of Jesus. None of us can stop God’s absolute will. God’s
